A review of RoboForex drawn from the broker’s own published terms: its licences, spreads, account types, trading platforms and the copy-trading service.

By the BrokerSwiss editorial team | Last updated: March 2026

Main Advantages and Drawbacks

The strengths and weaknesses below follow from RoboForex’s own published terms as they stood in the first quarter of 2026, read from the standpoint of a small live account of about 300 dollars. The account types that matter are Pro, ECN and R StocksTrader, and what the sections that follow cover is the quoted cost of a position on major currency pairs, gold and US shares, the support channels the broker advertises, and the deposit and withdrawal routes it lists.

Advantages

  • An instrument count above 12,000 instruments, one of the highest figures in the industry, taking in shares, ETF funds, indices, commodities and digital assets
  • A well-developed CopyFX copy-trading service, integrated with MT4, MT5 and R StocksTrader, with a transparent rating system for the traders being copied
  • The proprietary R StocksTrader platform, which offers multi-asset trading through a modern and capable interface
  • Leverage of as much as 1:2000 on Pro and ProCent accounts, for balances that do not exceed 10,000 dollars
  • A low minimum deposit starting at 10 dollars on the Pro, ProCent and ECN accounts
  • Civil liability insurance of 2.5 million euros, plus membership of the Financial Commission
  • No inactivity fee at all

Drawbacks

  • The principal licence comes from FSC in Belize, a weaker supervisor than tier-one authorities such as FCA or ASIC. Arab clients are not booked with the European RoboMarkets entity licensed by CySEC
  • The standard account (Pro) spread is relatively high against direct competitors, starting at 1.3 pips on EURUSD
  • Trustpilot reviews are mixed, with prominent complaints about withdrawals and about spread widening on gold
  • The Arabic version of the website is incompletely translated, and some sections appear in English
  • The Islamic account requires an application rather than being switched on automatically, and it carries a fixed commission in place of the swap

On the published terms as a whole, RoboForex suits traders who want a very wide instrument range and copy-trading services. It is a weaker choice for anyone who puts regulatory strength first, or who is hunting the narrowest possible spread on a standard account.

Company Information

RoboForex was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Belize City, Belize, in Central America, at 2118 Guava Street, Belama Phase 1. Over more than 16 years in the brokerage industry the firm has grown to serve around 730,000 clients worldwide and to list more than 12,000 instruments for trading.

As the corporate record stood in February 2026, RoboForex sits within the RoboForex Group group, which also owns the RoboMarkets brand aimed at European clients. That split is common in the brokerage industry, where each entity serves a defined geography under a different regulatory framework. The group has collected several industry awards, among them “Best Trading Conditions 2023″ from World Economic Magazine and ”Most Trusted Broker 2020” from International Business Magazine.

Is RoboForex a scam? The question recurs in Arabic search. On the public record the answer is no. The firm has traded since 2009, holds a licence from FSC in Belize, owns a European entity licensed by CySEC, and belongs to the international Financial Commission, whose compensation fund carries a stated ceiling of 20,000 euros per case, alongside civil liability insurance of 2.5 million euros. None of that makes the broker free of shortcomings, or trading with it free of risk. About 58.42% of retail accounts lose money trading contracts for difference with the European RoboMarkets entity, which is better than the industry average and still confirms that losing is the rule rather than the exception. Anyone checking a brokerage independently can start with this guide to how to avoid trading scams.

Why a Trader Might Choose RoboForex

Several published features set RoboForex apart from other brokerages. None of them makes it the right broker for everyone, but together they make it an attractive option for particular kinds of trader.

An exceptional instrument range: more than 12,000 instruments is a figure that beats most competitors. Through the R StocksTrader platform alone, US and European shares, exchange-traded funds and global indices sit alongside forex and commodities. Moving between asset classes is quick, and the search and filter tools are effective. That breadth suits anyone who wants to build a diversified portfolio from a single place.

The CopyFX copy-trading service: this is the most distinctive thing the broker offers. CopyFX allows the strategies of experienced traders to be copied through a public ranking that shows each trader’s performance openly. Subscribing to a strategy on MT5 runs to a handful of steps, a matter of 5 minutes rather than an application process. Three copying modes are offered: proportional, classic and fixed. The service is most useful to beginners who want to learn from experienced traders, and it is available on MT4, MT5 and R StocksTrader accounts.

Five account types: from the cent account ProCent through to the Prime account with institutional spreads, RoboForex offers a spread of choices covering different levels of experience and sizes of capital. For anyone learning the basics of trading, the ProCent account allows very small position sizes, cents rather than dollars, which keeps risk down through the learning phase.

The proprietary R StocksTrader platform: alongside MT4, MT5 and cTrader, RoboForex publishes its own R StocksTrader platform, built for share dealing and multi-asset trading. It carries a modern interface with advanced charting tools, customisable watchlists and a share screener (Screener). It runs in a browser with nothing to download and responds quickly.

Insurance and additional safeguards: civil liability insurance of 2.5 million euros, and membership of Financial Commission with a compensation fund whose stated ceiling is 20,000 euros, are uncommon among brokers supervised at this level. Neither offsets the weakness of the primary licence, but both narrow the downside.

Licences and Regulation

The licence numbers below are taken from RoboForex’s own disclosures as they stood in February 2026, and each can be looked up on the issuing register. The group operates through two principal entities at two different levels of supervision. The point an Arabic-speaking trader has to grasp is this: the entity licensed by CySEC (RoboMarkets) serves European clients only, and traders in the Middle East and North Africa are booked with the Belize entity (RoboForex Ltd).

Legal entityRegulatorLicence numberRegulatory tierServes Arab-region clients
RoboForex LtdFSC (Belize)000138/32Tier three (offshore)Yes
RoboMarkets LtdCySEC (Cyprus)191/13Tier one (European)No (Europe only)

Is RoboForex genuinely licensed? Yes, and the record is open to anyone. Go to the FSC site in Belize and search for 000138/32: RoboForex Ltd appears on the register. The CySEC licence numbered 191/13 can be confirmed on the Cyprus securities regulator’s website, where it is recorded in the name of RoboMarkets Ltd. The firm is registered with FSC Belize as well, under the Securities Industry Act 2021 and registration number 9759600, to carry on securities trading, securities management and investment advice.

What does that mean in practice for an Arabic-speaking trader? It means trading through the Belize entity. FSC in Belize is a third-tier supervisor, considerably less demanding than authorities such as the British FCA, the Cypriot CySEC or the Australian ASIC on client-money requirements, on segregation and on statutory compensation arrangements. That does not make the firm unreliable in itself, particularly with the insurance and the Financial Commission membership standing behind it, but the regulatory safety net is narrower than at a broker licensed by a European or British authority. On licensing in the trading industry and what separates the tiers, the detailed guide is the place to start.

It is fair to note that none of this is unique to RoboForex. Most large international brokers, Exness and FBS among them, serve Arab-region clients through offshore entities rather than their European ones, because of European limits on leverage and marketing. Checking a broker’s licence before opening any trading account is worth the effort.

Opening an Account and Verification

Account opening is direct, though it runs to slightly more steps than at some competitors, and the sequence below was as published in February 2026. Initial registration through the website is a single form of about 3 minutes: email address, full name, country of residence and a password, followed by the choice of account type.

Identity verification (KYC) is the step that takes time. The firm asks for proof of identity, a passport or identity card, and proof of address in the form of a utility bill or a bank statement no more than 3 months old. Documents are uploaded through the client dashboard (Members Area), and verification normally clears inside about one business day. Some reviews report clearance within a few hours, which turns on document quality and on when the application is filed.

One point worth noting: the Islamic account (Swap-Free) is not automatic, as it is at some other brokers. Once registration and verification are complete, a separate request through the dashboard is needed to convert the account. Approval is usually quick, but it is not instant.

For a trader new to the markets who wants the general shape of the process rather than one broker’s version of it, this guide to opening a trading account sets out the steps for brokers in general.

The account-opening steps in brief:

  • Go to the RoboForex website and create an account with an email address and personal details
  • Choose the account type (Pro, ProCent, ECN, Prime or R StocksTrader)
  • Upload the verification documents, identity plus proof of address
  • Apply for the Islamic account if that is wanted
  • Deposit and pick a trading platform

Account Types

RoboForex publishes five main account types, covering a wide span of needs from a beginner learning at miniature size to a professional trader after institutional spreads. The differences between them are substantive rather than cosmetic: the execution model, the spread, the commission and the platforms available all change from one to the next.

Account typeMinimum depositSpread fromCommissionMaximum leveragePlatformsBest suited to
Pro$101.3 pipsNone1:2000MT4, MT5Ordinary traders
ProCent$101.3 pipsNone1:2000MT4, MT5Beginners (cent trading)
ECN$100.0 pips$4 USD per lot, round turn1:500MT4, MT5Scalpers and active traders
Prime$100.0 pips$2 USD per lot, round turn1:300MT4, MT5Professional traders
R StocksTrader$1000.01 dollars (shares)$1.5 USD per forex lot1:500R StocksTraderShare and multi-asset traders

On the published schedules the ECN account strikes the best balance between cost and performance. The spread does start at zero on the major pairs at peak hours, and the commission of 4 dollars round turn is lower than at many competitors. The Prime account carries the lowest commission in the market, 2 dollars round turn, but it is available only through MT5. The Pro account suits anyone who wants simplicity with no commission, though its spread is higher than at competitors such as Exness, whose standard account starts at 0.3 pips.

The ProCent account divides units into cents, which means a deposit of 10 dollars shows in the account as 1,000 cents. That allows very small position sizes, 0.01 cent lots, which is well suited to testing a strategy with tightly limited risk.

The Islamic account: all five account types are available in a swap-free form. There is an important difference from some competitors, though. The Islamic account at RoboForex carries a fixed commission in place of the swap, calculated from the currency pair and the number of open lots rather than from bank interest rates. On triple-swap days, usually Wednesday, that commission is charged at three times the rate. It also matters that the firm reserves the right to withdraw the Islamic account service at any time without giving reasons. That condition is an uncomfortable one, and it differs from brokers such as Exness, which provides an Islamic account automatically with no substitute administrative charge.

Fees and Trading Costs

Over a long run of trades, cost is what decides how much of a strategy’s edge survives. The comparison below covers the Pro and ECN accounts and sets their published spreads against three main competitors, Exness, XM and FBS.

Spreads

On the schedules published in February 2026, the spread widens noticeably when liquidity thins, and most of all between the New York close and the Tokyo open. On the Pro account, which carries no commission, the EURUSD spread runs between 1.3 and 2.5 pips depending on the hour. On the ECN account the EURUSD spread comes close to zero through the overlap of the London and New York sessions.

The table below sets out the approximate average spread on the standard account, which charges no commission, for the most heavily traded instruments against three competitors. The figures are approximate, drawn from published schedules and independent sources covering the first quarter of 2026.

InstrumentRoboForex (Pro)Exness (Standard)XM (Standard)FBS (Standard)
EURUSD1.3 pips1.0 pips1.6 pips0.7 pips
GBPUSD1.7 pips1.5 pips2.1 pips1.0 pips
USDJPY1.4 pips1.1 pips1.6 pips1.1 pips

USDCHF1.7 pips1.5 pips1.9 pips1.5 pips
Gold (XAUUSD)25 cents20 cents35 cents30 cents
Oil (Brent)6 cents5 cents5 cents5 cents

As the table shows, the RoboForex spread on the Pro account sits in the middle to upper part of the range: tighter than XM on most pairs, but wider than Exness and FBS. Anyone after the lowest possible cost at RoboForex should look at the ECN or Prime accounts, where the spread falls sharply in exchange for a small commission.

Commissions

The Pro and ProCent accounts charge no commission on trades, and the whole cost sits in the spread. The ECN account charges 4 dollars per standard lot, round turn. The Prime account charges 2 dollars per lot round turn, among the lowest commissions in the industry. The R StocksTrader account charges 1.50 dollars per forex lot, while share commission starts at 1.5 cents per share with a minimum of 1.50 dollars per trade.

The Prime commission of 2 dollars round turn is highly competitive next to the Exness Raw Spread account at 7 dollars, or IC Markets at 7 dollars. What decides the real cost is the spread that comes with the commission.

Overnight financing charges (swap)

Swap is applied to positions still open after the daily market close, and it varies with the instrument, the direction of the position and prevailing interest rates. On Wednesday the swap is charged three times over to cover the weekend. Current swap values for each instrument are published on the contract specifications page of the official RoboForex website and inside the trading platform.

On Islamic accounts the swap is replaced by a fixed commission, as set out in the account types section above. That commission is calculated from the currency pair and the number of lots and is unaffected by bank interest rates.

Deposit and withdrawal fees

RoboForex charges nothing on deposits. On withdrawals the firm allows one free withdrawal per client on set days through any payment method; beyond that a fee may apply, depending on the method used. The payment provider may also charge a fee of its own. The firm reimburses deposit and withdrawal commissions on Skrill and Neteller, which counts in its favour.

Inactivity fees

One clear advantage at RoboForex is that it charges nothing for inactivity. An account left untraded for months has nothing deducted from it. That differs from brokers such as XM, which does charge an inactivity fee, after 90 days.

Overall assessment of fees

Taken as a whole, the RoboForex fee structure varies sharply with the account type. The ECN and Prime accounts carry very competitive trading costs, Prime especially at a commission of 2 dollars. The standard Pro account is dearer than several competitors. The limited free-withdrawal policy is also less generous than at brokers such as Exness, which offers unlimited free withdrawals.

Desktop Trading Platforms

RoboForex publishes four main desktop platform options, a breadth that beats most competitors, who stop at the two MetaTrader platforms.

MetaTrader 4 (MT4): the best-known platform in forex. It supports automated trading through expert advisors (Expert Advisors), and carries 30 built-in technical indicators, 9 timeframes and a range of charting tools. It is available on every account type except R StocksTrader.

MetaTrader 5 (MT5): the newer generation, adding 21 timeframes, market depth (DOM), a built-in economic calendar and support for a wider set of pending order types. The Prime account is available only on MT5, and MT5 paired with a Prime account is the strongest combination on cost and capability.

cTrader: a platform known for modern design, fast execution and advanced analysis tools. It offers NDD execution, with no dealing desk, and full market depth (Level II pricing). The cTrader interface is cleaner and more current than MetaTrader, with smoother charts and more capable drawing tools. It is available with ECN accounts.

R StocksTrader: a proprietary RoboForex platform built for multi-asset trading, and for shares and ETF funds in particular. It runs in a browser with nothing to download, and it carries a share screener (Stock Screener), customisable watchlists and more than 100 technical indicators. It is well suited to share dealing and less so to professional forex traders who need automated execution.

For the strengths and weaknesses of each platform in detail, this guide to trading platforms compares them side by side.

Mobile Trading Apps

Most trading now happens on a phone, and RoboForex publishes several apps covering different needs. The MobileTrader app from RoboForex is described below as it stood on Android in February 2026.

The RoboForex apps carry good store ratings. The MT4 app has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars on Google Play and App Store. The MT5 app has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, and the R StocksTrader app a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars.

The MobileTrader interface is clean and easy to move around. The app allows positions to be opened and closed quickly, charts to be followed with the basic technical indicators, and the account to be managed, deposits and withdrawals included, from the phone. Order handling through the app follows the same route as the browser platform in normal market conditions.

Alongside the proprietary app, the official MT4 and MT5 apps from MetaQuotes can be used, as can the cTrader app. All of them are published on Google Play and App Store.

For anyone comparing apps across brokers rather than looking at one, this guide to the best trading apps sets them side by side.

Available Trading Instruments

Instrument choice is one of RoboForex’s clearest strengths. The firm lists more than 12,000 instruments across 8 asset classes, a figure well ahead of many direct competitors. The breakdown below comes from the instrument lists published for the MT5 and R StocksTrader platforms.

Asset classApproximate countExamples
Currency pairs (forex)40+ pairsEURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, majors, minors and exotics
Shares12,000+ shares (through R StocksTrader)Apple, Amazon, Tesla, Meta, Google and thousands of European and US shares
ETF fundsHundreds of fundsSPY, QQQ, VTI, sector and diversified funds
Indices10+ indicesUS30, USTEC (Nasdaq), UK100, DE40
Metals5+ instrumentsGold (XAUUSD), silver (XAGUSD), platinum, palladium
Energy3+ instrumentsCrude oil (Brent, WTI), natural gas
Digital assets26+ cryptocurrenciesBitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin
FuturesSeveral contractsFutures on indices and commodities

The breadth of shares and ETF funds is what sets RoboForex apart most clearly. Through the R StocksTrader platform, thousands of shares from US and European exchanges are tradable, far ahead of most conventional forex brokers, which list a few hundred at best. Worth noting is that shares are available only through R StocksTrader, and not through MT4 or MT5.

The forex pair count, around 40 pairs, is lower than at forex specialists such as Exness, which lists more than 100 pairs, but it covers every major and minor pair most traders need.

Gold (XAUUSD) is available on every platform. For anyone drawn to precious metals, this guide to trading gold covers the basics of that market and the analysis that suits it.

One point worth noting: the number of instruments varies considerably by platform and account type. The R StocksTrader platform carries the widest selection, thousands of shares and ETF funds among them. MT4 and MT5 carry a smaller set focused on forex, metals, indices and digital assets.

Order Execution

RoboForex states that order execution begins from 0.1 seconds. On ECN accounts orders are routed straight to liquidity providers, which is the structural reason fills on that account type are quicker than under a dealing-desk model. No independent measurement of fill speed exists for this broker, so the published figure stands as the firm’s own claim rather than a verified one.

On slippage (Slippage), no independent measurement exists and none is offered here. What is worth knowing is where it comes from: slippage concentrates around economic data releases and in thin liquidity, and it bears hardest on a stop-loss order, which is filled at the next available price rather than at the level set.

RoboForex runs an NDD model, with no dealing desk, on ECN and Prime accounts, where orders go straight to liquidity providers with no broker intervention in pricing. The Pro and ProCent accounts use an STP model, under which the broker may be the counterparty in some cases. The R StocksTrader account uses a DMA model, direct market access, for shares.

The order types on offer are immediate market orders, pending orders (Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, Sell Stop, and Buy Stop Limit and Sell Stop Limit on MT5), stop-loss and take-profit, and Trailing Stop. The cTrader platform adds further order types and full market depth (Level II).

Deposit Methods

RoboForex lists more than 20 ways to fund an account, a good spread that covers most traders’ needs across different regions. The published minimum, processing time and fee for each route are set out below.

Deposit methodMinimumProcessing timeRoboForex fee
Visa or Mastercard card$10InstantFree
Bank transferVaries by bank2-5 business daysFree
Skrill$10InstantFree (wallet commission reimbursed)
Neteller$10InstantFree (wallet commission reimbursed)
Perfect Money$10InstantFree
AdvCash$10InstantFree
Digital assets (BTC, ETH, USDT)Depends on the assetDepends on the networkFree

The positive here is that every deposit route is free on RoboForex’s side, with the added benefit that deposit commissions on Skrill and Neteller are reimbursed. Funding through either wallet therefore costs nothing, even where the wallet charges a fee of its own.

On the published processing times, the electronic wallets are the quickest and most convenient route. A bank card is fast as well, though some banks in the Arab region decline the first such transaction for security reasons. Bank transfer is available but is the slowest option, and the least convenient for small amounts.

Withdrawal Methods

Withdrawal routes at RoboForex are close to identical to the deposit routes. A request starts from the client dashboard (Members Area) and passes a manual review before it is processed.

Can money be withdrawn from RoboForex, and what about the withdrawal problems people report? The question recurs on Arabic forums. On the terms as they stood in the first quarter of 2026, the published windows are one business day for a wallet such as Skrill and longer for a card or a bank transfer, as the table below sets out. RoboForex returns funds by the route used to deposit them.

Withdrawal methodMinimumProcessing timeRoboForex fee
Electronic wallets (Skrill, Neteller)$1One business dayOne free withdrawal plus wallet commission reimbursed
Visa or Mastercard card$12-5 business daysOne free withdrawal on set days
Bank transfer$5003-5 business daysA fee may apply
Digital assetsDepends on the assetDepends on the networkBlockchain network fee

Several points about the withdrawal policy deserve attention. First, RoboForex allows one free withdrawal per client on set days through any payment method, and additional withdrawals may carry a fee. Second, withdrawal requests are processed inside business hours, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern European time, which means a request filed outside those hours is handled on the next business day. Third, the minimum for a bank transfer withdrawal is high, at 500 dollars, next to the other routes.

The complaints that appear on Trustpilot and in forums about withdrawal problems at RoboForex concern processing delays in some cases and, in others, accounts where verification was never completed or where bonus conditions were breached. Three habits prevent most of them: complete identity verification in full, use the same payment method for deposits and withdrawals, and steer clear of conditional bonuses.

Customer Support

The channels listed below are the ones the broker published as of February 2026. Response speed and reply quality are not assessed here, because assessing them would take contact this review does not claim to have made.

Live Chat: Live chat is published with Arabic available during set hours only, and English cover outside them. No target response time is published for the channel, so neither the wait nor the standard of the Arabic is graded here.

Email: Written enquiries, questions about the Islamic account terms among them, go through email. The published support language for email is English, and replies carry links to the relevant help articles. No target response time is published, and the time a reply takes is not assessed here.

Telephone: RoboForex publishes a support number, +65 3158 8389 for Singapore, but it is not a line dedicated to the Arab region. A callback request service (Callback) is offered as well.

Other channels: support is also published through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Telegram. The help centre holds a comprehensive knowledge base, mostly in English.

Email24/7Not guaranteed12-24 hours
TelephoneBusiness hoursNot availableVaries
WhatsApp/TelegramAvailablePartially available1-3 hours

Arabic-language support at RoboForex is clearly thinner than at brokers such as Exness or XM, which publish round-the-clock Arabic cover. English support is available around the clock and is well resourced, but for anyone whose English is limited that is a real obstacle, and most of all in an urgent case.

Research and Educational Material

The educational and research material RoboForex publishes is a reasonable mix of teaching material and analysis tools, but most of it is available in English only.

Educational content: the site carries a set of teaching articles and illustrated guides covering forex basics, technical analysis, risk management and trading strategies. The material is aimed mostly at beginners and intermediate traders. The part available in Arabic is very limited.

Daily analysis: RoboForex publishes daily market analysis covering technical forecasts for the main currency pairs and for shares. As of February 2026 it was appearing on a regular schedule and carried a reasonable level of detail, in English only.

Analysis tools: the site provides an advanced trading calculator that works out position size, margin, profit and loss, and swap. The share screener (Stock Screener) built into the R StocksTrader platform is genuinely useful for anyone trading shares. An economic calendar is available too, and it is a basic tool for news traders.

The CopyFX service: copy trading can be read as an indirect teaching tool, since a beginner can watch the strategies of experienced traders and pick up recognisable patterns by following their performance and their decisions.

Overall the educational material at RoboForex is adequate rather than a strength, and the scarcity of Arabic content weighs on it for an Arabic-speaking trader. Anyone looking for depth on financial analysis and its tools will need specialist sources alongside what the broker provides.

Safety of Funds and Safeguards

Safety of funds is one of the weightiest factors in choosing a brokerage, and more so in a high-risk market. On the fund-protection policies RoboForex published in February 2026, several layers sit alongside the primary licence and go some way towards offsetting its weakness.

Segregation of client money: RoboForex states that client money is held in bank accounts separate from the firm’s operating funds. In principle that means that in an insolvency, client money would not be commingled with company assets. How closely the separation is policed depends on FSC in Belize, which follows up less rigorously than the European authorities.

Negative balance protection: RoboForex applies negative balance protection on every account. Where a violent market move drives a balance below zero, the firm resets it to zero automatically and does not pursue the difference. That counts for a great deal given the leverage on offer, which runs as high as 1:2000.

Civil liability insurance: RoboForex carries civil liability insurance (Civil Liability Insurance) with a value reaching 2.5 million euros. The policy adds a further layer for clients where a failure or a default on the firm’s part is involved.

Financial Commission membership: RoboForex is a formal member of the Financial Commission, an independent international body that resolves disputes between brokers and their clients. The body’s compensation fund carries a stated ceiling of 20,000 euros where a broker refuses to comply with one of its rulings.

No statutory compensation scheme: the Belize entity that serves Arab-region traders sits outside any statutory arrangement of the kind the Cypriot ICF provides, whose stated ceiling is 20,000 euros. The RoboMarkets entity licensed by CySEC does fall within ICF, but it does not serve the Arab region.

Where that leaves the safety of funds: RoboForex makes a visible effort to offset the weakness of its primary licence with extra layers, insurance of 2.5 million euros plus Financial Commission membership. That puts it ahead of many offshore brokers, which offer no additional guarantees at all. It still amounts to less than a broker licensed directly by a European or British authority.

The Verdict

Judged on the terms and the regulatory record RoboForex itself published in the first quarter of 2026, this is a broker offering an unusual combination of instrument and platform breadth with a developed copy-trading service, and it comes with reservations that matter.

Who RoboForex suits:

  • Traders after a wide instrument range, and shares and ETF funds in particular, more than 12,000 instruments in all
  • Anyone drawn to copy trading through the well-developed CopyFX platform
  • Professional traders after institutional spreads, on a Prime account at a commission of only 2 dollars
  • Beginners who want to start small on a cent account (ProCent)
  • Anyone who wants a choice of platforms (MT4, MT5, cTrader, R StocksTrader)

Who it may not suit:

  • Anyone who puts regulatory strength first, since the principal licence comes from Belize, a weak authority
  • Anyone who needs high-quality Arabic support available around the clock
  • Anyone who would rather have an automatic Islamic account with no substitute administrative charge
  • Anyone hunting the tightest spread on a standard account, where competitors do better

Common concerns addressed:

On the “is RoboForex a scam or a fraud?” question that recurs in Arabic search, the answer, on the public licence records, is no. The firm has traded since 2009, holds regulatory licences, owns a European entity licensed by CySEC, carries insurance of 2.5 million euros and belongs to an international dispute-resolution body. It does not follow that every dealing with the firm will go smoothly, nor that trading with it is free of the risk of losing money. 58.42% of retail accounts lose money trading contracts for difference.

On “RoboForex withdrawal problems”, the complaints online are mixed. Some are genuine and concern processing delays; others trace back to unmet bonus conditions or to verification that was never completed. Avoiding conditional bonuses and completing verification in full before depositing removes most of that exposure. On telling a trustworthy firm from a fraudulent one, see this guide to fraud in the trading market.

On “is RoboForex banned in Saudi Arabia?”, the firm does not appear on the Saudi Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) list of prohibited companies, but neither is it licensed locally. Trading with international brokers that hold no local licence sits in a regulatory grey area across most Arab countries.

On “InstaForex against RoboForex”, both are offshore brokers licensed by third-tier authorities, but RoboForex is ahead on instrument and platform breadth and on the extra layers of cover, insurance of 2.5 million euros among them.

A broker marked out by exceptional breadth of instruments and platforms and by a developed copy-trading service, with professional accounts that are very competitive on cost. The main reservation remains the weakness of the principal licence (FSC Belize) and the limits of the Arabic support. The broker reviews index is the place to set it against other options before making a final decision.

Frequently asked questions about RoboForex

Is RoboForex licensed and reliable?

Yes. RoboForex is licensed by FSC in Belize under number 000138/32, and the group owns a European entity (RoboMarkets) licensed by the Cypriot CySEC under number 191/13. Arab traders, though, are booked with the Belize entity rather than the European one. The firm is a member of Financial Commission and carries civil liability insurance of 2.5 million euros.
